According to Wikipedia ,movement is a motion,a change in position.
In a short period of time , a change in position is done many times in a folk dance.In Turkey we have different folk dances for every region ,even for every city.When we have parties or celebrations we have one dance which is called ' halay ' that we always dance.According to the location it can be danced with man and woman together or seperately, and the speed of the dance changes form one location to the other.
The above picture is taken by me with my olympus camera on March 1st 2008 at the celebration of the 12th Anniversary of our dialysis center.
To complete this post I would like to show a mixture of ' halay ' by a professional folk dance group called Sultans of the dance,which had performances almost all over the world.
